Starts and Seedling Plants

Our vegetable, herb and flower starts are grown in organic potting soil in biodegradable pots which you can plant directly in the soil. We use no pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.

We believe a healthy plant begins with healthy soil, minimal fertilizing, hardening-off to the elements, and early transplant — buy the plants young, and you'll have more success.  We want our customers to be successful in their gardens, and that means seeing a good harvest off of each plant.

We purchase most of our seeds from Seed Savers' Exchange, "a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and sharing seeds." http://www.seedsavers.org/

I purchased one of your pattypan squash seedlings at the Natomas Farmer's Market some time ago (can't remember exactly when). Anyway its growing like crazy on my patio and has had 6 blossoms, newest one opening up this morning. My question is how long after the flower dries up do the squashes appear? This is the first time I have tried growing squash so I have no idea.

Thanks for you help and I must tell you it has been such a spirt lifting experience that I'm going to try this again.
